Eme is a Jacawi girl whose encounter with humans during the Runeous era became the first contact between humans and the Jacawi after their return to the Sunworld. The Jacawi had remained secluded and avoided human contact until Eme became involved in a conflict alongside a human group. Together they overcame the threat. Afterward, the Jacawi began teaching survivors to channel magic without relying on runestones.
Eme's meeting with humans is associated with Eldergreen Forest, the ancient site of Faelight near Silverfall Cascade. The precise date and nature of the conflict remain to be established in the reimagined Runeous story.
