The Penumbra

The Penumbra is the border state between the Sunworld (mortal realm) and the Umbral Veil. It is the half-shadow — the threshold where echo and unrealized possibility press closest to mortal reality.

The Penumbra gathers what never fully was: unchosen paths, suppressed truths, and possibilities denied. Entities and influences of the Umbral Veil may manifest or bleed through most readily in this border state.
