The history of the world is divided by three timelines surrounding the celestial comet Alcor.

BFA — Before the Fall of Alcor

This period is an era of uncertainty; few texts remain and fewer still who lived through it. What the world knows comes from stories passed down through generations. It is told that this was a golden age of peace and collective cultural innovation.

−900,000	The Creation	Celestial / Cosmic	Ariana and Cryos emerge from Chronos' design. Ariana layers the Moonworld (Fae Realms) upon the Sunworld; Cryos carves the Underworld. The Umbral Veil, realm of echo, takes form.
−800,000	Faeloria	Celestial / Cosmic	The layered cosmology is established. Ariana bears Lucien and Eriana; Cryos fathers Aros and Inuera.
−600,000	The Celestial vantage	Celestial / Cosmic	Beyond the layered realms, the domain of divine observation is established. The gods influence the cycle but are not wholly bound by it — Chronos governs time, Ariana refines creation and memory, Cryos oversees resolution. −500,000	Mortal life	Celestial / Cosmic	The Sunworld (Material Plain) is filled with mortal life; Chronos' design of beginnings and endings takes hold.
−400,000	Mortal explorers	Discovery / Exploration	Mortals explore their world and civilizations, discovering gateways into other planes of existence.
−300,000	The Moonworld	Celestial / Cosmic	Ariana's Fae Realms flourish — a realm of reflection and remembrance filled with immortal Fae, bound to the vitality of the Sunworld.
−200,000	The Umbral Veil	Celestial / Cosmic	The realm of echo becomes a source of pressure upon the Sunworld; entities of paradox and unrealized potential occasionally seek to manifest.
−100,000	Alcor's birth	Celestial / Cosmic	Ariana, Lucien, and Eriana give rise to Alcor to protect the Sunworld and Moonworld from the Umbral Veil and forces beyond divine design.
−50,000	The Veil's push	Celestial / Cosmic	Forces from the Umbral Veil press upon the Material Plain. Alcor creates a powerful ward, encasing the realm in his protective light.
−10,000	The manipulation	Celestial / Cosmic	Entities of the Umbral Veil infiltrate the Material World, creating cults and manipulating mortals to thin the boundary between realms.
−5,000	The corruption	Celestial / Cosmic	Alcor struggles against corruption from the Veil infiltrating his mind.
−100	Alcor's break	Celestial / Cosmic	Alcor locks his remaining good essence deep within him and succumbs to the corruption, shedding a single tear that falls from the heavens.
−50	Red rain	Celestial / Cosmic	Alcor's tear fragments fall to earth; the barrier breaks down and dark forces from the Umbral Veil seep in.
−10	The great gathering	Era beginning/end	Mages come together, preparing to bring down Alcor and secure his heart.

AFA — After the Fall of Alcor

This is a time known for strife and uncertainty. The darkest years of the world occurred in this era, and it is a time of great heroes who stepped up to return Alcor, as chronicled in the Chronicles of Faeloria.

100 AFA	The free city of Ix	Founding	Ix becomes an independent kingdom to safeguard Alcor's heart. It is declared The Free City, open to all with good and true hearts.
500 AFA	The fading heart	Celestial / Cosmic	Alcor's heart begins to fade; Veil entities and dark forces infiltrate the barrier.
600 AFA	Faefall	Era beginning/end	Dark forces invade the Moonworld (Fae Realms). Heroes gather Alcor's tear shards and perform a ritual to cleanse his heart. Natsuko sacrifices himself, merging with Alcor's heart and restoring the god. As chronicled in the Chronicles of Faeloria.

TRA — The Return of Alcor

A return to a golden age: Alcor protects the world against dark forces. While Alcor can shield the world for the most part, evil always finds a way through, and secret orders fight to ensure it never gains a foothold.

10 TRA	The ascendance of Natsuko	Celestial / Cosmic	In honor of his sacrifice, Natsuko ascends to godhood. A large shrine is built in his honor in the Free City of Ix.
50 TRA	The Fae compact	Gathering / Conference	Representatives from the Moonworld (Fae Realms) and the mortal realms formalize the Fae Compact, promising mutual aid and shared responsibility for peace and balance.
120 TRA	The new kingdoms	Founding	As mortal civilizations grow, new kingdoms are founded. Notably, Avaria, Kokoro, and Dalr emerge as prominent powers.
200 TRA	The year of the green comet	Celestial / Cosmic	A green comet, visible for an entire year, inspires a wave of divine and arcane exploration, leading to new magical discoveries and a deeper understanding of the celestial.
250–300 TRA	The shadow conflict	Military / War	A rise in shadow forces causes conflicts across Faeloria. Mortal and Fae join forces, leading to greater cooperation between the two. As chronicled in the Chronicles of Faeloria.
400 TRA	The great restoration	—	A concerted effort to restore areas damaged in previous conflicts, showing a commitment to healing and preservation of the world.
480 TRA	The scholar's revolution	—	A cultural and intellectual revolution: scholars, artists, and philosophers explore new ideas; academies and universities are built; advances in science, magic, and the arts.
500 TRA	The half-millennium celebration	—	A grand celebration marks 500 years since the Return of Alcor. Celebrations across Faeloria reflect on past challenges, present peace, and future hopes.
