Overview

Faelight is a Fae-touched forest enclave in Avaria, nestled near the Silverfall Cascade in the heart of the Avarian Forest. Deeply intertwined with the Moonworld, it is one of the most magically sensitive regions within the kingdom. Its architecture and culture reflect strong planar influence, blending the mortal and the fey in a way that sets it apart from the rest of Avaria.

Location

Faelight lies within the Avarian Forest, close to the Silverfall Cascade—the great cataract from which a network of sapphire rivers flows to nourish the kingdom. The forest itself is a vast woodland of ancient trees, home to wildlife and mythical creatures, with bioluminescent flora lighting the forest floor. Faelight's position at this confluence of natural and Fae-touched power makes it a place where the boundary between the mortal world and the Fae Realm grows thin.

Demographics

Faelight is home to a unique blend of human and Fae residents. Wood Elves, deeply connected to nature, are more common here than in most of Avaria, drawn by the forest and the outdoors. A significant population of Fae also resides within and around the settlement; in Avaria, the Fae are cherished for their magical abilities and deep connection to nature, and they are most commonly found in the Avarian Forest. The result is a community where mortal and fey cultures coexist and influence one another.
