Norin
Norin is the capital of Luxor, the north-eastern kingdom of Faeloria. A cosmopolitan city of mixed ancestries, pilgrim roads, and Faefall-era relics, it is famed for the Garden of Night-Blooming Lilies—where a small statue of Virilian Steadmane stands, placed by unknown hands.
Role in Luxor
Norin is the principal seat of Luxoran governance, trade, and shrine culture. Sea and river traffic link it to Crystalport and the wider Lumina coast; overland caravans connect it to Kokoro and the eastern marches. Travellers often compare its openness to Avaria's great ports, though Luxor lacks Avaria's royal Fae emissary tradition.
Chronicle and legend
The Chronicle of Faefall records the fellowship's arrival in Norin, where they recovered the first shard of Alcor's Tear. Fragmentary texts such as the Scrolls of the Lost Hearth were found in ruined chapels near the city. Norin remains a destination for pilgrims tracing the heroes' road toward the Free City of Ix and the restoration of Alcor.
