Chronicle of Faefall
The Chronicles of Faefall recount the tale of a diverse fellowship of adventurers, each carrying the weight of divine lineage, whose mission forever altered the fate of Faeloria.
The Fellowship
- Elara – Tiefling Sorcerer, pink-skinned and radiant, torn between her infernal heritage and noble heart.
- Natsuko – High Elf Monk, calm and kind, trained in martial arts and diplomacy.
- Caranion – Half-Elf Hexblade Warlock, raised in a secret order of assassins, wielding a spectral blade.
- Maive – Human Bard, noble-born but free-spirited, using song and charm as both magic and weapon.
- Trix – Lightfoot Halfling Rogue, master of stealth, mischief, and traps.
- Neacal – Wood Elf Barbarian, gruff yet loyal, a fierce force in battle.
- Virilian Steadmane – A succubus raised as mortal, living in the guise of a Drow woman, torn between good and fiendish heritage.
The Quest Begins
The heroes awoke in a ruined temple, their memories erased, confronted by a mischievous demon. He urged them to seek his master, the Scribe of the Underworld. Along the way, they discovered their true heritage: each was descended from the gods of the Faelorian Pantheon.
Their destiny: to recover the shards of Alcor’s Tear, purify the god’s heart, and restore him to glory.
Trials and Revelations
- In Norin, they uncovered the first shard of Alcor’s Tear.
- The Scribe revealed the truth: their memories were hidden for protection, and their godly bloodlines destined them for this quest.
- Each hero’s lineage was revealed:
* Neacal → Ariana * Elara → Eriana * Maive → Lucien * Natsuko → Alcor * Caranion → Inuera
The Purification Ritual
After uniting the shards, the fellowship restored Alcor. Natsuko, as Alcor’s descendant, was destined to sacrifice his divine spark. He fulfilled his duty but survived, bereft only of Alcor’s essence.
The Heroes’ Fates
- Natsuko & Neacal – Continued adventuring together.
- Elara & Virilian – Left Faeloria for the Infernal Plane, forging love amid chaos.
- Trix – Returned to his people, carrying tales of heroism.
- Maive – Returned to noble roots, seeking to restore his family’s honor.
- Caranion – Disappeared mysteriously; his fate remains an enigma.
